«Հանրային Տեղեկատվություն և Գիտելիքի Կարիք» հասարակական կազմակերպությունը «Քաունթերփարթ Ինթերնեշնլի» Հայաստանյան ներկայացուցչության աջակցությամբ իրականացրեց «Մենք և մեր իրավունքները» ծրագիրը, որի նպատակն էր հավաքագրել տեղեկատվություն Հայաստանում ԼԳԲՏ (լեսբուհի, գեյ, բիսեքսուլ, տրանսգենդեր) անձանց նկատմամբ խտրականության և իրավունքների ոտնահարման դեպքերի վերաբերյալ, ինչպես նաև պարզել` որքանով է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության օրենսդրությունը կարգավորում ԼԳԲՏ անձանց իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը և նրանց պարտականությունները:

2010թ. մայիսի 4-ին Կոնգրես հյուրանոցի մեծ դահլիճում կազմակերպվեց իրավական վերլուծության և սոցիոլոգիական հետազոտության արդյունքների ներկայացումն ու քննարկումը: Հանդիպմանը հրավիրված էին հյուրեր պետական կառույցներից, միջազգային և հասարակական կազմակերպություններից, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանում տարբեր երկրների դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչություններից:

Բացի հրավիրվածներից, ներկայացման և քննարկման ողջ ընթացքին այլոք ևս հնարավորություն ունեցան հետևել առցանց` թվիթերի և սքայփի միջոցով:

Հյուրերի համար նախատեսված փաթեթում կազմակերպիչները ներառել էին «Ծիածան Եվրոպա» քարտեզները, որոնք տրամադրել էր ԻԼԳԱ-Եվրոպա միջազգային կազմակերպությունը: Հյուրերին նաև տրամադրվեցին հետազետության և վերլության համառոտ հաշվետվության գլքույկները:

Այս միջոցառումը գնահատվեց որպես նորարարական և պատմական, քանի որ առաջին անգամ կառավարական, միջազգային և տեղական կառույցների ներկայացուցիչները մեկ հարթակում քննարկեցին ԼԳԲՏ իրավունքները, հանդես եկան իրենց հուզող հարցերով ու առաջարկներով:

Public Information and Need of Knowledge NGO, in cooperation with Armenian branch of Counterpart International, has conducted the program called “We and Our Rights”, the aim of which was to gather information about discrimination and cases of human rights violations of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered) people, as well as to clarify how well does the legislation of the Republic of Armenia protect the rights and the duties of LGBT people.

On May 4th 2010 the presentation and the discussion of the results of the legislative analysis and of the sociological research was organized. Representatives from governmental bodies, international and non-governmental organizations, as well as from various diplomatic missions were invited.

Except for the invites, others also had chance to follow the whole process of the event on-line, through twitter and skype.

The organizers had included “Rainbow Europe” maps in the package intended for the guests that were provided by ILGA-Europe international organisation, and booklet of short report.

This event was groundbreaking and historical, as the first time on the same platform representative from governmental, international and local institutions discussed LGBT rights, expressed their concerns and suggestions.
