A museum of sexual assault cases was organized in Yerevan

An exhibition entitled “Museum of Sexual Assault Cases” was held in Yerevan on April 25-27, 2019, which introduced real stories of sexual violence and things associated with those stories. This event was organized by Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Armenia.

The stories collected from LGBT people were also shown during the exhibition.

Despite the stereotypes in society that LGBT people and sex workers are not subjected to sexual violence as they always want to have sex, our stories have shown the personal experience of the victims of sexual violence, their emotions, attempts to overcome self-criticism after the violence.
