The second group meeting of parents of LGBT people took place on September 22-23 2018 in Yerevan.

During the meeting the parents had an opportunity to receive information about sexuality, sexual orientation, gender identity and find answers to the concerning questions.

Moreover, the meeting was another opportunity for parents to be in an environment of mutual understanding and support. During the meeting the parents discussed their concerns, expressed own feelings, thoughts, and doubts; shared their strategies and experience of overcoming challenges.

Participated parents also mentioned the significance of such meetings both for themselves and for other parents who are passing the hard way of acceptance and fight. They expressed their willingness to periodically attend common meetings and to contribute in the activities that will influence on acceptance of LGBT people by their parents.

This was the second similar meeting, the first one was held in 2018, May. Parents will meet again very soon.
